How long does the exam take?

Most exams take approximately 60 minutes. Results are typically ready within 3-4 business days. A 24-hour express service is available for an additional $200.

Do I need to fast before the exam?

No fasting required. Eat and drink normally — including the morning of your appointment.

What should I bring?

Accepted Answer

Bring a government-issued photo ID (passport, driver's license, or state ID), any prior vaccination records (childhood, school, military, etc), a list of current medications and major medical conditions, and payment (cash, card, or Zelle).

Will my insurance cover the exam?

Accepted Answer

Most major medical insurance plans cover the laboratory testing and vaccination portions of the exam. To confirm benefits, upload your member ID card to the insurance check section of the Pricing page. Note: Our affiliate location does not accept insurance for the laboratory testing, though insurance may still be used for vaccines.

Do I need to repeat vaccines I've already had?

Accepted Answer

Not always. Clients should bring any prior vaccination records. Adults can undergo a blood antibody test for MMR, Varicella, and Hepatitis B that could potentially exempt them from receiving those vaccines.

What if I'm pregnant?

Accepted Answer

Pregnant clients will not receive live vaccines (MMR, Varicella) or the Polio vaccine. Please let us know at the time of booking if you are pregnant so we can plan your immigration medical exam accordingly.

Question 7

How long is the Form I-693 valid?

Accepted Answer

Form I-693 is valid indefinitely as long as the immigration case is still pending. Note: Exams completed before November 1, 2023 are valid for 2 years.

What if my TB test is positive?

Do you serve walk-ins?

We accept walk-ins when our schedule allows, but appointments are strongly recommended. Booking online takes under 2 minutes.

Can the whole family come in together?

We can accommodate families as long as they have a prior appointment. Walk-ins for families are not available.
